Hi all! I hope you all enjoyed a lovely weekend! My weekend happened in Birmingham for our annual Pinkies team weekend away. I went last year for the first time and had a fab weekend with some fantastic friends so was really excited about this one! I was more excited as I took 3 of my lovely team along with me. The weekend involved crafting, chatting, giggling, crafting and lots of eating! We made 8 different projects which I will be showing you over the coming week, swapped some fantastic projects, played some funny (if not a bit silly in places) games and shared some of our recent work with each other. I must say, the creativity of everyone there was just outstanding and I have come home not just inspired but wowed at some of the things I have seen! Have a look below at some of the GORGEOUS makes that were bought along... One of the BIG things that Stampin' Up! weekend involve is "Swaps". The premise of swaps is for all attendees to make the same card front/3d item for everyone there and swap projects with each other. There was a total of 43 people this weekend so I made a card front using the Sunshine Wishes stamp set and bundle. I took inspiration from my recent customer thank you cards! The swaps this year were of an exceptionally high standard and there were lots of "ooo's and aaah's" heard around the room when we took part! I've not had chance to photograph these yet so watch out for another post this week!
The highlight of the weekend was definitely spending time with friends and meeting new people! Have a good week all, i'm busy making wedding invites and preparing for my first ever craft fair this weekend! Stacey xx

Hi all, I hope you've all had a good week. It's been a busy one at the manor with home improvements, a poorly little girl and lots of prep for a crafty weekend away! A gopd ps friend if mine celebrated her 70th birthday this week (Happy Birthday Ann!) and we were lucky to celebrate this a few weeks back with a surprise gathering! Today j wanted to share with you the cars that I made as she has finally opened her presents and cards! I used the Number of Years stamp set and framelits as the basis for this card. This set landed in the Stampin' Up! World in January and is my go to set for all number needs! The numbers are a good size to send out on cards, scrapbook pages and 3d projects. The framelits look fab when used with card stock or patterned paper but when used with the stamps, they really stand out! For this card wanted to add some sparkle so I used the silver glimmer paper for the numbers . This card is soooo sparkly, the photo doesn't do it justice! The flowers round the edge are part of the Number ofYears stamp set and are a two-step process. The leaves are stamped with Wild Wasabi and the flower heads are stamped with Wild Wisteria and Rose Red. I've added some 3d flowers in Rose Red cardstock using a framelit from the Botanical Builder collection and some jewels for some more bling. I also stamped inside the card with the same image from the front and added a little butterfly with the silver glimmer card.
Hi all! Last but not least here is card number 3 from the Swirly Bird card class. In this one I've used the stamps to create the kite image and some lovely twine and sequin trim for sone texture. The sentiment on this card comes from the new "Layering Love" stamp set which has some gorgeous sayings perfect for all sorts of occasions! I hope you like the card, and the series over the last few days. It definitely won't be the last you see of Swirly Bird on my designs as it really is so versatile and looks fab on cards and 3d projects!
My next card class takes place on Thursday 7th July for anyone wanting to attend. We will make 3 cards and focus on a particular product....to be announced next week! Have a good week all, it's a busy one for me and I will be busy preparing for a crafty weekend away with my Stampin' Up! friends, can't wait! Thanks for reading Stacey xxx Hi all, Hope you're all enjoying a lovely weekend. We've had a few days away at Peppa Pig world and today the sun is shining! We make 3 cards at my monthly card class...ive already shown one of those so here is number 2! We focussed on the Swirly Bird stamp set and framelits... In this card I have used the large wave die and the flowers to create a trellis-like effect and the sentiment comes from the Designer Tin of Cards stampset

Dance classes with my little lady, catching up with friends, crafting with friends, working, meeting new babies, work and now were off to Peppa Pig world! There are many many new stamp sets in the catalogue to choose from, and one of my personal favourites is Swirly Bird. It was one of the sets that demonstrators were able to order early as part of a catalogue "pre-order" so I've had lots of time to play! Click on the image below for more information It is a "two-step" stamp set, the idea being that you stamp one image and then add over the top with a different stamp to create a layered look. This is something that Stampin' Up! do very well and although it took me a while to get the hang around it, it really is very effective! The co-ordinating set of Framelits available is called Swirly Scribbles and comes with 9 dies that work beautifully with the stamping! This month's card class was based around the Swirly Bird/Swirly Scribbles Bundle and we made 3 very different cards using the different stamping elements... Card Number 1: This card was super easy to make and hanks for looking let me know what you think!xxx
