Hi all, Hope you're all well! It's the school holidays for me now which means lots of quality time with my little girl, husband and mum, a holiday, mine and my hubbys birthday and hopefully some crafting marathons too! We're in the final week of the Bonus Days promotion which I know quite a few of you have benefitted from already! For those of you that haven't placed your orders yet I will be placing a final order on Saturday evening this week! I always like to include a little thank you card with peoples orders when i send them out and this month I have used the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack as the main event! They are a set of co-ordinating 6"x6" double sided papers made up of pretty scenes, textures and printed patterns. When i first saw them in the catalogue I wasn't sure but now I've used them I'm a fan! Here are the cards... I have used one of each of the Scenery sided papers along with the Notecards and Envelopes in Whisper White. I have stamped using Versa Mark and heat-embossed with Copper embossing powder. For an embellishment I have used a mixture of washi-tape, twine and lace trim. And to avoid the naked envelope I have added a sentiment to the front and some of the same DSP to the fold over! Thanks for reading!
Have a good week everyone! Stacey xxx

Hi all! How nice is it to finally feel some warm sunshine this week??? Okay so it's a tad too warm for my pregnant body and hormones but it's so nice to not have rain! It's that time of year again in our world, end of the school year which means...thank you gifts are needed for Florences amazing Nursery teachers! They do a fabulous job and she is always so excited to talk about what she's been up so and is really fond of her teachers. It's always nice to say thank you and there's no better reason than to say thank you to people for taking such good care of my precious little girl! Thanks to Pinterest, I found a lovely little picture of some apples using the Curvy Keepsake Die and fell in love...as did Flossie! The Curvy Keepsake Die has been around for a short while now and I must admit I don't use it enough! Whenever I make anything for Nursery, I always like to make sure that Florence can help in some way and in recent months she has started to show a keen interest in my crafting (which I love!). She loves to stamp and stick and has mastered turning the handle of the Big Shot too! I enjoyed making these little gifts, and I'm really pleased with how they turned out. Florence especially loved counting and putting the chocolates in the boxes, and sampling a few after (me too!) - she's now a fan of Mars apparently! I'm looking forward to seeing her hand out her little thank you gifts this week, complete with matching card of course! Here's a list of all the products that I used to make these gifts...
- Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Die - Festive Flower Builder Punch - Reason for the Season Stamp Set - Crazy for You Stamp Set - Linen Thread - Cardstock (Real Red, Garden Green, Early Espresso & Whisper White) I hope you all have a great week and manage to stay cool in the heatwave! I've got my final 2 days at work this week before the summer holidays, hooray! Thanks for reading. Stacey xx Hi all! I hope you've all had a good week! Another busy one here with the husband away and the last week of term almost upon us! Waking up this morning to the terrible news in Nice, France is just heartbreaking, thinking of all those involved. When will these devastating attacks cease?!! Today I want to share with you all a project that I made last weekend whilst watching the Wimbledon final....using the gorgeous Irresistibly Yours DSP as the main feature. They are a set of white 12" x 12" papers that have a shiny embossed texture to them, 2 in each pattern including florals, diamonds, stripes...and spots!!! For this project I used the spotty paper. I cut 3 strips of the DSP into 6" x 12" strips and chose a selection of inks...blues/purples, greens/blues and yellows/oranges/reds. I then used the new sponge brayers to add a random spectrum of colour to each strip. And this is the end project.....12 cards, 3 of each style/occasion and all using a variety of different stamps and dies and embellishments! This project was a lot of fun to make and would be a lovely card-set gift to give someone! Looking forward to to using some of the other papers now....! Heres a list of products I used...
Remember the current promotion running throughout July for orders of £45 or more! Double-tap to edit.I hope you have a lovely weekend! Thanks for reading, Stacey xxx Double-tap to edit.
Hi all! Hope you're having a good week so far! We found out yesterday we're expecting another little girl in november sk it's smiles all round at the manor especially for little Florence who has been adamant that she's having a sister right from the start! Bringing you the final card from this month's card class...and the fancy fold instalment! Each month i try to include a card that is folded slightly differently than the normal style. Sometimes they're reallt fancy and other times they're just slightly fancy! Once the card has been folded it makes a 5" x 5" square card. To create this style of card, rather than scoring in the middle of the card, score it at 2.5" from either end. I have added some DSP to the side panels of the card from the Pop of Pink range. For the cross-over section in the middle I have used the Layering Square Dies to create a frame effect and layered using the new Foam Adhesive Strips. The sentiment comes from the Designer Tin of Cards set and the silver butterfly shapes are cut from the Sunshine Wishes Framelits Dies. I liked this "fancy fold" card as it looks effective but is so easy to make and could be great for using up all those off-cuts of DSP we all keep!
Thay concludes our card class set for July. I hoped you liked the cardsm Next month I will be doing a notecard and box set at the card class...dates to follow! Have a great week! Stacey xxx Hi all I hope you're all enjoying the weekend! As promised here is the 2nd card from my July card class... To make this card I have used a scallop edge card base and added a Night of Navy card mat to bring in another colour. I have used a 4" x 4" piece of the Irresistably Floral Speciality Designer Series Paper which are all white and used a sponge brayer to add the colour. These papers are really fab because they have a shiny embossed finish but you can add as much or as little colour as you wish! "Sunshine" has come from the Sunshine Wishes Framelits dies and added to a strip of Vellum to add another texture. I enjoyed using the sponge brayers because they don't leave any mess and can be washed (gently) ane re-used after!
This afternoon I shall be watching the Wimbledon final and hopefully doing some crafting! Stacey xxx Hi all, Yesterday was the first group of my monthly card class. There are so many locelt new products in the catalogue, this month i found it really hard to pick one to focus on! We made 3 cards and used the following selection of new products... Love You Lots Hostess Stamp Set Sunshine Wishes Dies & Sunshine Sayings Stamp Set Layering Squares Framelits Dies Sponge Brayers Irresistably Floral Speciality Designer Series Papers Today i'm going to share with you mt favourite card of the 3.... I've used Kraft card for the card base with a Wild Wasabi cardstock layer. For the background, I used an Aqua Painter and Wild Wasabi ink to create a wash of colour. The bubbles are from the Playful Backgrounds stamp set and I have stamped with Versamark, added Whisper White embossing powder and heated. Once dry I added some sparkle using Wink of Stella. The little frog is stamped using Basic Grey and stuck on with Dimensionals. The words come from the Crazy By You stamp set and "you" has been cut from the Hello You Thinlits Dies. One of my ladies decided to use the hedgehogs instead...don't they look sweet too??? There are so many examples of this stamp set all over Pinterest at the moment I can't wait to use the other cute animals!xx
