Hi all, Hope you're managing to stay safe and warm from the horrible weather we are experiencing! I very nearly got blown away on the school run today! Today I am bringing you a 3d project instead of my usual card! Stampin' Up! offer a wide range of gift packaging items and one of the things that I really like are their clear acetate treat boxes. Measuring 2" square, these are great for filling with sweet things to share on a table, or just as a little "just because" gift. This treat box is filled with mints, which is great for the non-chocolate lover, and great as a table gift if you are hosting! I have added some strips of DSP around the box, leaving the top clear so the receiver can see what's inside, and tied with some ribbon and bakers twine to secure. To create the tag, I have used a selection of punched shapes and a sentiment which is just perfect for these things, "Treat Yourself". All of these products are currently available to buy now and with Sale-a-Bration under way right now, you can choose a FREE Sale-a-Bration item with any order of £45! 2 of these items are brand new in our Spring/Summer catalogue. If you would like a paper copy sent to you, leave your details in the comments.
Thanks for reading. Stacey xxx

Hi all, Today I am sharing with you my Easter Gifts that I have made for my family. We love a bit of chocolate but this year I wanted to something different to buying an Easter Egg and the Basket Bunch suite is perfect for doing exactly that! For this project I used the Basket Bunch Bundle from the Spring/Summer seasonal catalogue. When I first saw this set in the catalogue I wasn't overly excited but after we used this set at a recent demonstrator day I just had to have it! The mini egg cartons were a lovely touch too for this set. They come in Very Vanilla and it really is so easy to add colour to them!
For the top of the boxes I cut out the largest square from the Stitched Shapes Framelit set. Using craft card I die cut the largest scallop square from the Layering Squares Framelits and the basket is from the Basket Bunch set. I stamped a selection of flowers, bunnies and leaves using Stazon ink onto Whisper White cardstock, coloured using Watercolour Pencils with an Aqua Painter and die cut out. They are added to the basket using Dimensional Foam Pads. The sentiment is stamped onto Vellum Cardstock, and cut out using the Classic Label Punch. I have added these to the basket using Mini Glue Dots. To finish I added a self-adhesive Enamel Shape embellishment in a co-ordinating colour. The egg cartons are secured using Burlap Ribbon which coordinates lovely with the craft card colour. The products that I used are found below. Sadly some of these products have been listed as being retired this week and have sold out already :-( Please click the shop now button at the bottom of this post to check what is still available. Thank you for reading, I hope you all enjoy a lovely restful Easter weekend!
Stacey xx Hi all, This months' project class was based around the Succulents Bundle that is one of the new products available in the Spring/Summer seasonal catalogue. This set jumped out of the catalogue at me as it screams Spring and who doesn't love spring?!! For this class I wanted to make something more than a card as the large flower dies make the most beautiful 3D flowers....and this is what they made! I picked the flower pots up from Wilkinsons and used some Sisal that I purchased from Hobbycraft and ordinary dressmaker pins with a pearl top. To order this stamp set, please click the online shop link below and don't forget with the current Sale-a-Bration promotion running until the end of March, you can choose a limited edition FREE item when you spend £45!
Stacey xx Hi all, Hope you're all managing to shelter from this horrible weather we are experiencing at the moment. Today I am sharing with you a 3-d project which makes a nice change from the usual cards! These boxes measure 2" square and they are really handy for small gifts. I like to fill mine with sweet treats for table gifts and that's exactly the idea behind this project. Filled with lovely mints, I have added a couple of strips of DSP, and some ribbon and bakers twine to secure. The tag is made from a few punched shapes and a stamp set that is just perfect for this sort of project! All of these products are available to order now and remember you can order a FREE Sale-a-Bration product with orders of £45! Click SHOP NOW to go to the main website to order.
Stacey xx Hi all! How nice is it to finally feel some warm sunshine this week??? Okay so it's a tad too warm for my pregnant body and hormones but it's so nice to not have rain! It's that time of year again in our world, end of the school year which means...thank you gifts are needed for Florences amazing Nursery teachers! They do a fabulous job and she is always so excited to talk about what she's been up so and is really fond of her teachers. It's always nice to say thank you and there's no better reason than to say thank you to people for taking such good care of my precious little girl! Thanks to Pinterest, I found a lovely little picture of some apples using the Curvy Keepsake Die and fell in love...as did Flossie! The Curvy Keepsake Die has been around for a short while now and I must admit I don't use it enough! Whenever I make anything for Nursery, I always like to make sure that Florence can help in some way and in recent months she has started to show a keen interest in my crafting (which I love!). She loves to stamp and stick and has mastered turning the handle of the Big Shot too! I enjoyed making these little gifts, and I'm really pleased with how they turned out. Florence especially loved counting and putting the chocolates in the boxes, and sampling a few after (me too!) - she's now a fan of Mars apparently! I'm looking forward to seeing her hand out her little thank you gifts this week, complete with matching card of course! Here's a list of all the products that I used to make these gifts...
- Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Die - Festive Flower Builder Punch - Reason for the Season Stamp Set - Crazy for You Stamp Set - Linen Thread - Cardstock (Real Red, Garden Green, Early Espresso & Whisper White) I hope you all have a great week and manage to stay cool in the heatwave! I've got my final 2 days at work this week before the summer holidays, hooray! Thanks for reading. Stacey xx |
